Beth Brown Ornstein, JD, an experienced dispute resolution professional and principal of Colorado Mediation Center, LLC, will use the Thomas-Kilmann Instrument (TKI) to explore the dynamics, fundamentals, and value of five conflict styles (competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding, and accommodating) and the implications for our work as ADR professionals. Participants will gain a greater understanding of the various ways they and their clients approach conflict and how best to work with various conflict styles. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in a roundtable discussion.
