Do you know what to do once one of your clients happens to be named in a petition in dependency and neglect?  Come learn how to represent parents as they navigate the often perplexing world of child welfare law.

  • How the state department of human services evaluates claims of abuse or neglect during its investigation;
  • What happens in juvenile court, once a petition in dependency or neglect is initiated; and
  • How to ethically represent parents in concurrent divorce and child welfare proceedings.
