In September 2023, a group of Colorado voters sued Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold and former president Donald Trump, seeking to remove him from the 2024 presidential primary ballot under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment. Over the next five months, the case proceeded to trial and appeals all the way to the United States Supreme Court. This CLE, presented by one of Colorado’s attorneys in the case, will discuss the trial, the appeals, and the decisions issued by the courts who heard this unique constitutional challenge.
