Has your approach to law practice gotten sluggish? Karen A. Hammer, LL.M. (Hammer-Law) will help you sharpen-up for 2018 with a fresh perspective on ethics.

This lively ethics CLE will explore the new attorney self-assessment tool recently rolled out by Colorado’s Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel in a first-in-the-nation innovation. One ethics CLE credit will be requested.

Recommended prior reading: Hammer’s related article in the Boulder County Bar Association February 2018 e-newsletter, “Proactively Manage the Financial Risk of Ethics Violations.”

Hammer is a member of the Colorado Supreme Court’s Proactive Management-Based Program Subcommittee and was one of three attorneys who developed the competence section of the ten-topic self-assessment tool.  She is Co-Secretary of the Colorado Bar Association’s Ethics Committee, fields ethics inquiries as a member of the CBA’s Ethics Hotline Calling Committee, and serves on the CBA’s Professionalism Coordinating Council.
